MAD MEN

DSCN1323What does one do on a Sunday night at 10:00 p.m.?  Why, tune in to AMC to watch another episode of debauchery, infidelity, drinking and smoking with brilliant maneuvers in the ad man think tank.  I discovered this show at the close of its third season. Damn!  Why am I always the late bloomer?  The show began its run in 2007. What was I doing that served to keep me out of the loop?  Oh, right, I was back in school for the 6th installment of college-the-way-Cyndi-does-it.  I had a lot of papers to write.  The due date was four days ahead of me.  I was completely oblivious to the ways of television.  I had to be in bed by 10:30.  Did I dare watch anything on Sunday nights?  No.

So, I missed out.  The first three seasons of MAD MEN had escaped my notice.  Once I discovered the show, I was sold.  Currently, I am the proud owner of each season.  My collection is complete.  I watch my favorite episodes over, and over.  Mr. Draper, Mr. Sterling, Mr.Cooper, Peggy, Joan, Pete, Ken, Betty and Sally.  And, never to be forgotten, Mr. Lane Pryce.

Thank you MAD MEN.
